This is a city known for food, booze, music and nudity. Tell me, why aren't you going to be there this weekend?
My bad for the late timing, but these things usually flesh out late. Myself, a few OM fans and regrettably, Tulaners will be soaking up some libations at a little dive bar across the street from Turchin Stadium this afternoon.
Robert's Bar is the place, 5ish is the time. I'll be the asshole with a red polo and white OM bar hat
Let's get it on.
Red Cup Rebellion is proudly endorses college baseball, the City of New Orleans, and libations. If you're within driving distance and have cash to blow, do it.

The Mrs. and I will be coming down and looking to eat, drink and be merry before the game Saturday afternoon.
We’d be more than thrilled to have a beer or three with some good Rebels.
If I predict it, there's an 50 percent chance it happens.
You force me to publicly reveal my lameness...
I’ll be sans familia tonight, but Saturday and Sunday will be with the wife and progeny so I’ll be playing the responsible party. A buzzed drive across the Causeway is highly retarded (trust me, experience), so my activities will be much more subdued for Sat and Sun.
But I’ll be there, and more than likely, just as loud.
If I could be there, I would.
I’ll be enjoying the first 50+ degree weather weekend since November.

That was my old haunt…longer ago than I care to admit!
If it’s still there, stop by the Frost Stop and get a ‘Yatwhich before heading to Roberts’. There’s a good Po’ Boy shop up the block, too. (Calhoun Superette, I think. I lived off of those hot sausage Po’ Boys. Slathered those bad boys in hot sauce and….::SIGH:: Knowing what it means to miss New Orleans…)
(No, I’m not misplacing the apostrophe. From what I recall, the establishment is owned by the Roberts family, thus, Roberts’.)

Actually,
The most current grammar rules prefer that you use the apostrophe and “s,” even if the person’s name ends in an “s.” Thus, James’s hat, Kris’s song, Roberts’s Bar (though the establishment’s name itself is the final word…if the sign says “Roberts’,” then “Roberts’” it is).
