Rebel Roundup - 3/15/10

SEC Tournament Quarterfinals: Tennessee Wins | Rocky Top Talk
It might have been close early, but the Rebels didn't even deserve to be on the same court as the Vols down the stretch as poor defense and perhaps the worst free throw shooting performance of the season doomed the Rebels. You know what that means!

THE NIT! | The Mississippi Press
It's pretty indicative of how down the SEC is when the two teams atop the SEC West cannot go dancing.

The SEC Gets Four In | Team Speed Kills
Kentucky is a number one seed while Vanderbilt and Tennessee were locks for the tournament weeks ago. But, Florida?! How in the hell did they get in?

Ole Miss Falls to Louisville | The Clarion Ledger
I'm really not devestated over this. Of course, Dan McDonnell kicking hass stings a little bit and it always sucks to drop a home series. But, it's baseball; you can drop a few. Furthermore, it's not as if the top-10 Louisville Cardinals dominated the Rebs. They won their two games by the skin of their teeth which I think is equally as demonstrative of our "rebuilding" as well as our resiliance.
