Of Feb. 3
Well then. Now that signing day is coming to a close we see how we compare around the nation. 15ish is a very good class I would have to say. I have paid relatively close attention to our classes over the past three or so years and I have noticed some things.
Things I've learned:
1. Houston Nutt (or someone in the mix) can, in fact, recruit. So what if he uses a personal helli-coopter (allegedly).
2. Ole Miss can recruit in state and out of state. Though we may not get the most, if any, 5 star prospects we can get quality 3 and 4 star prospects. These guys can compete with talent around the SEC and I'm confident the coaching staff can devolp them into great players.
3. Ole Miss owns Hargrave.
4. Everyone hates maroon and white. Even players. They just go there because no one else would take them.
5. Our guys get drafted. I mean how many players have gone to the NFL from Ole Miss the past three seasons? I really think at least 15 to 25.
Just thought I'd share how I see things. May be a little elementary but it's the truth.
