Bruce Pearl announced the end of suspensions for Goins and Tatum, the two other players involved with the gun possession charges against Tyler Smith.

They’ll be reinstated Sunday, and Pearl said they worked with campus police to clear their names of any wrongdoing. Translation: They ratted out Smith and got some immunity.

Very close game. Ugly, but very close.

Ole Miss probably should have won that one, really. Your free throw shooting was lights-out today. Ours? 50% if you don’t include Chism (who was 10/10).

A lot of our folks are frustrated, but let me remind them that this very same Tennessee lineup beat the then NUMBER ONE Kansas Jayhawks in this exact arena. This was going to be a tough game from the get-go and, while heartbreaking, the loss was a respectable one.

Still, I hate losing. On to the Gamecocks and, if we amplify our play from here on out, we’re tournament bound.
