Rebel of the Week Poll - Week 1

This is the first of a re-vamped weekly post that Ghost and I will do each week. This time, the readers get to vote for the player that they believe was Rebel of the Week. Once the votes are tallied, either Ghost or I will do a write-up on that player and why they deserved to be named the Rebel of the Week.

Who was the Rebel of the Week?

All five are deserving candidates. Johnny Brown gets my vote. But I agree with sutpens that the kicking game deserves a shout out. Sparks 40 yard avg. with long of 53; Shene 100% on field goals and PATs; and Ritter’s 8 kickoffs — 514 total yards, 64 yard avg, 3 TBs (at least 4 into the end zone). Not a bad start.

Jerrel Powe was unstoppable yesterday. We got spoiled last year with Peria, so I don’t think people realize what a luxury it is to have a DT who disrupts / impacts almost every single play.

Snead was freaking me out the first half. I can’t say the second half completely ended my fears either.
