Rebel Roundup - 9/15

Ghost is out for a few days, so I'm doing his job... sort of. Anyway, he picked a good day to leave, as there really aren't very many articles about Ole Miss football. What the hell is going on? We're a top five team that no one's talking about. I guess that's what happens when your first three weeks of football are Memphis, Bye, SELA. Maybe that's good though. I want people to forget about us.

Yeah. I thought we had a bye week too. Well, I guess that de-rails the whole top 5 team in the country thing. Way to go West Virginia. Keep seeking mediocrity.

I don't get it. I rolled my ankle terribly when I was a junior at Ole Miss. I didn't step on the thing for four days. It was fine after that. Why don't we have Greg Hardy living in a hyperbaric chamber? And before some of you say something like, "a hyperbaric chamber wouldn't help this," just know that I don't believe in scientific mumbo jumbo anyway. If God wanted me to believe that stuff, textbooks would grow from plants.

Really sad...

…and bad when you are the sports EDITOR of a newspaper and can’t even report correctly who played who. Maybe the idiot that didn’t vote Ole Miss in the AP poll this week, read that story – except the story was published today so, so much for that theory.

It's just astonishing that someone who allegedly cares about sports

doesn’t know the difference between Ole Miss and State. I never make that mistake with any schools located in the same state.

West Virginia

did in fact play State a mere two seasons ago. That guy is just an idiot.

"I didn't step on the thing for four days."

Hardy stepped on it THAT day…MANY times…and THREW himself on a loose ball.

That’s the difference.

ummm yeah, so when you “rolled” your ankle, you probably stretched out some ligaments and tendons and it got swollen and hurt and then it was fine. greg hardy has probably actually torn some ligaments and tendons and is still trying to play on it. if you look at how it was snapped in that play it’s a wonder he didn’t break any bones in his lower leg. yeah, that’s the difference. (and good arguement by role player)

NO, THE DIFFERENCE IS...

THAT JUCO IS A MAN, AND HES FORTAY! GET YOUR FACTS STRAYT! GREG HARDY IS A KID! A CHILD! HE CRIES AT NIGHT WHEN HES WALKING DOWN THE STREET! WHOS THE KID HERE?!?!?!?!?!

I considered this

It’s just that we haven’t heard about any tears. We have heard he’s doubtful. We have heard he rolled his ankle.

If there are torn ligaments, of course that would change my point. If not, the severity of the roll doesn’t affect my point. The downtime would change, but I don’t think it would be two weeks if he just stayed off of his foot the whole time.
