Bittle Done

Baseball America is reporting that Scott Bittle will not return for the post-season and, potentially, play no more baseball, at all.

I think we all saw this coming, or at least were sitting around with our toes and fingers crossed.  This, obviously, puts exceptional pressure on Drew Pomeranz to perform at the highest level.  Further, it means that the Rebels who started rolling with a series victory over Georgia are done for the season and replaced with the Rebels who dropped two to Mississippi State.
