The Cup now "Tweeting"

Yes, we've sold our soul to the internet.  The Red Cup Rebellion is now on Twitter.  Twitter, as Michael Wilbon described it, is the worst thing to happen in the history of the United States of America.

Alright, so maybe Wilbon was being a bit harsh, but I can't say I wasn't reluctant to jump into another goofy e-trend like Facebook or Myspace.  However, despite my reluctance, I think this could do good things for us.  Mainly, this will allow us to send "tweets" or whatever to your Blackberry, iPhone, or orther smartphone whenever we update... you know, so you can get goofy photoshops of our defensive linemen and snarky comments about Arkansas fans on the go!

Give it a shot and let us know what you think.

ETA: Hell yeah he is.

polls and shit

This doesn’t necessarily have to do with Twitter, but I just wanted to throw out the idea again of a poll of some kind where people can mark when they begin reading. Also, I know some of my friends and I, who don’t know the authors of this blog personally (at least we suspect we don’t), are what might be considered “lurkers.” Maybe you should have a post just for the purpose of allowing all of us who read regularly, but do not comment, to come out and say hello.

Know Personally?

Greg, You can not know the “authors” personally. This is because they are actually a super intelligent cybernetic conglomerate (kinda like the borg) who troll the internet and then make posts based on what they find and what they think people will like….

And I might be calling out your bullshit, but...

Who followed whom first on twitter, because Eli has an Auto-follow back on anyone who follows them first.

I put oooooon. I put on for tennessee.

I was waiting for this

I was actually thinking of sending y’all an email suggesting it. Add 1 to the list of my daily distractions…
