But I can’t even muster hate up for OSU… they’re my second favorite team. Evidently I had the exact opposite experiences with their team/fans than everyone else in 2003 in Dallas because everyone we met was really cool. The people we were tailgated next to engaged in some good-natured ribbing before the game (as well as sharing their food and drinks with us) and then shook hands, said that Ole Miss played a good game and shared more drinks with us after the game was over. I remember being worried that they were going to be horrible like the OU fans we’d experienced at the Independence Bowl a few years before but they were the exact opposite.
