It was fun...

…but I hope to see a team of your calibre early in the season next time. What am I saying here….no SEC A.D. in their right mind will schedule us again.

This game served one purpose: to take NAU’s athletic department off of life-support for at least a little bit.

I’m amazed that the Lumberjacks didn’t lose 7 more of their defensive team in this one but I’m also proud that my alma mater didn’t roll over and die. 38-14 is about what I expected. 38-20 would have looked better.

The size and speed of your offensive and defensive line was bewildering. Ole Miss has speed to burn at receiver and running back as well. This leads me to believe that the Rebels aren’t as bad as a lot of your fans seem to think.

Best of luck the rest of the season. I have an aversion to LSU fans (horror story from a good friend who attended one of their games in the late 80s/early 90s and barely walked away with his life for the simple reason that he wasn’t from Louisiana) so I’ll root for you in that one. I saw Tennessee years ago (grade school?) at the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe and still have that damned “Rockytop” song stuck in my head. I hope you beat them for that reason alone. I’ll root for you vs. your rivals in Starkville as well. Final prediction is you win 2 of your last 3 and finish 8-4 with a bowl berth of some sort.

NAU wins their last 2 conference matches and they have a shot at the playoffs.

Thanks again and cheers.

Speed, you say?

Maybe…EEES EEE SEEEE SPEEEEEED??!!!! (Just kidding, all! If we can’t use the internet to make fun of obnoxious SEC fans, then you give me me one non-porn related use for this so-called “internet”!)

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Oxford, MT!

Classy post...

…thanks for dropping by.

A team that welcomes a former Rebel to their Quarterback contingent cannot be all bad!

Thanks!
