Get your Questions for Red Cup Radio in!

This is an idea I should have stolen borrowed from Roll Bama Roll and Rocky Top Talk a few weeks ago.

Whiskey Wednesday, One Man To Beat, and yours truly will be joined tonight by SBNation's LSU krewe over at And The Valley Shook as a part of our podcast.  As such, we'd like for you to get some questions in ahead of time as opposed to blurting questions in the chat--questions which I quickly forget or blatantly ignore.  The questions can be directed at us, them, or yourself (introspection 'n' shit) but if you're looking for a specific person to answer, specify.

So post 'em below if you've got 'em.

- How well does Snead have to perform on Saturday to get the pressure off of Dex and the running game?

- Do the RCR guys drink whiskey all day on gameday, or do they work through a series of drinks, i.e. bloody mary, then beer, then whiskey? If you drink screwdrivers just go put your nose in the corner.

- What is the minimum age that an opposing fan must be in order for you to be an outright asshole to them?

- Does seeing The Blindside on opening night make you a goober or a Good Rebel? As a follow up, what percentage of Ole Miss fans will wear some type of Rebel gear to see the movie?

- Discuss an unranked Ole Miss team being favored to beat a Top 10 team.

- Sandra Bullock-hotter as a blonde?

Pig Pen this here's Rubber Duck, and I'm about to put the hammer down.

I prefer scotch,

but any whiskey’s good. I don’t drink beer on gameday. I’m a good law abider.

Follow up question

Are you a connoisseur of the finer single barrel bourbons (Blantons, Bookers, etc.) or do you just go for the cheap thrill?

by artiger on Nov 18, 2009 12:46 PM EST up reply actions

I do both.

If I’m having a single drink at the end of the day, I go with nicer bourbons. If the goal is to get sauced up for a football game, then I go with the cheaper stuff.

Whiskey

Small batch is great stuff. I love Basil Haydens. Bulleit Bourbon is a great whiskey at a great price. And you really can’t go wrong with Makers.

Props to Juco for being a Scotch man. Any preferences?

I don't have enough spare money lying around

to really answer this question. My parents don’t drink much liquor either, so I haven’t had the opportunity to have a glass of expensive stuff with my father. Of the scotch I’ve had, it’s between Glenlivet 18 and Johnny Walker Gold.

Honestly, I usually go with Johnny Red or McClelland’s (not Macallan…$$$).

If you're ever able to get your hands on some...

definitely give Pappy Van Winkle a taste. I’ve tried the 15 and 20 year batches, and both were the best bourbons I’ve ever had. Look out though because a bottle could set you back $250!

Looks impressive

I’ll have to try that one out

Wild Turkey Rare Breed is my gameday booze of choice.

For the nice stuff, I’ll take Black Bush or any of the high end Irish whiskey. Don’t ever forget the stuff from the Emerald Isle.

How do you distinguish between LSU fans and LSU students/graduates?

When is the appropriate time during the national anthem to yell “GO TO HELL LSU”?

Discuss how our D’s pressure will affect jefferson/lee

Was the Tenn win the first one in which Jevan did not have multiple TDs? Will he this week?

If we win on Saturday, should we even bother taking the Golden Egg to Starkvegas?

If LSU loses, do they fall to Arky as well…only to beat some ACC team handily in Dec to give everyone hope for next year?

Do LSU fans always smell like corndogs, or just on gameday?

by the_drake on Nov 18, 2009 12:46 PM EST reply actions

All the corndog talk made me throw some in the shopping cart this week…. but they are name brand, all beef and I am using French’s mustard so I am hoping to keep corn dog night classy.

lol If that is even possible.

Call me a dirty hippie...

…but I love the Morningstar Farms veggie corn dogs and am still pissed that they temporarily discontinued them. I don’t care if that was a fake hot dog down in that sweet corn batter but it was a damn good fake hot dog.
