Because it’s not just 2 blown plays. Two 20+ yard passes to even get them down in the red zone. then 2 wide open TD passes. Our pass defense hasn’t played a team all year that is good at catching the ball. Today, they are being exposed.

The Cup has “Hate Week”, which is nothing but a front for shit-talking. You were talking shit, we were talking shit; that’s how it goes. My point is not that Ole Miss shouldn’t be glad to beat Arkansas or that they shouldn’t have won the game (because they most definitely should have, the way the Hogs played). My issue is with the Ole Miss fans who liked to talk about how they “dominated” the Hogs whil simultaneously ignoring everything the Hogs did to beat themselves. I’ve seen your comments over on Expats, and I know you don’t fit into this group. These are the same Ole Miss fans who mocked you for your views on the Ole Miss pass defense, so think about that before you jump all over me.

Perspective on reality?

On what “reality” do we need perspective? The reality that Auburn is good? Because that’s not true. The reality that Ole Miss is less talented than Auburn? Because that’s not also true. The reality that Ole Miss is awesome at beating itself up? Yeah, that is a reality, but it’s one I’ve had a pretty solid Goddamn grasp on for years now.

I didn’t say you deserved to lose because you had a Hate Week, and you know it. Don’t put words in my mouth, because that’s “fucking childish”. After Ole Miss fans on this blog continued to talk shit (as recently as Friday) about “dominating” an Arkansas team that did a pretty good job of beating itself, it’s only right that Ole Miss should lose this game by beating themselves. That’s reality. I didn’t watch the game, because a) I don’t have an SEC Network affiliate and b) I was watching my pathetic Illini tear Michigan a new one, so I’ll have to take your word for how badly the Rebs “beat themselves”.

We had this discussion last week. Arkansas Hate Week ended last Sunday. I have no problem with Hate Week, nor with any shit-talking that went on during Hate Week. Wrong week, Rebels

Auburn hasn’t been very good the last three weeks, but they also haven’t been getting any breaks. Turns out they were saving them up for today—that INT overturn was kind of indefensible and a major turning point, not to mention the McFadden pick-six was a gift from God.

The way Auburn’s D played and the way (unfortunately for your guys) Snead didn’t play, I do think the better team today won the game, but things could have very, very easily been very, very different.
