Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

Welcome Back, Snead

Snead's numbers: 22 of 33 for 332 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 insignificant picks.  Hot damn.  I'm glad he and Dex decided to join everyone for the 2009 season.  Oh, and here's another fun bit of tid: Ole Miss hasn't defeated Arkansas twice in a row since 1999 and 2000.

If yesterday doesn't excite you about next week, the week after, the week after, etc., then I don't know what I can do for you.

Hardly.

I’m 23. I remember the show from Nick At Nite back when I was in middle school.

Sweet "Welcome Back Kotter"

I remember the kickoff marathon on Nick at Nite. I even tried the Juan Epstein note in the sixth grade. It did not work.

two words: running game

Establishing the running game was very important for snead and the passing game. The play calling in this game reminded me of the way we played last season at the end when we started winning. We have to be able to run and keep the opposing defenses off balance. Gotta feel pretty good going forward after the last two games.

Fresh Cut

Ole Miss started winning last year when Snead cut his hair into a mohawk. Guess what? He cut it like that this week. Coincidence? I think not.

Jevan coming off the field chanting “Houston Nutt” with everyone else in the stadium was awesome.
