That thing is dangerously close to being a purse.

Considering his socialistic policies it is definitely a European Carry All.

Awesome. This jives with the theory that the Ole Miss curse was lifted when Obama came to campus for the debate.

Probably a gift when he came to Oxford for the debate?

Eric, I prefer to think he's just a big Greg Hardy fan.

whatever, its a wonderful thing!

@ Anon2,

I agree. I'm glad he digs the gift we gave him. I'm also glad we actually gave him something he can and does use as opposed to some stupid trinket.

So is it cool that Obama is using a nice leather bag with the Ole Miss logo on it? Or is it awkward that the Univ. gave him a man purse with the Ole Miss logo on it?

by ericwindham on Mar 5, 2009 4:52 PM EST reply actions

I'm cool with it.

Obama is the first black president of the country in case you haven't heard. I wouldn't care if we gave him a pink Ole Miss sweatshirt if he was going to wear it. I am down with the logic that big black football players respect him (and his bag by association), which will undoubtedly bring them here to play. Right guys?!?

by A Shoe on Mar 5, 2009 5:18 PM EST reply actions

Gonzohog told me that Petrino would have given him an Arkansas bag, but here was a Nutt conspiracy that kept it from happening. The world is out to get Petrino. You know that, right? Right?

by Rebels7 on Mar 5, 2009 7:08 PM EST reply actions

I don't want anyone else to talk about race at Ole Miss anymore. The first Black President isn't ashamed of our University. Why should any black student be?
