Less than two weeks until baseball...

Just to get your jimmies jamming, I'll be breaking down this year's team this weekend.

This video really summarizes one of the great moments from the past few years. I really thought we were headed to Omaha when this occurred. I was sitting by my future wife about a six pack into the game when a thunderous clap came booming from the bat of Mark Wright.

Anon,

His ladyfriend/future wife was drunker than he.

Sad, huh?

I am proud to say I was the first to hurl my red solo cup of beer into the air when this happened. It rained red solo cups in LF that night. Damn shame we lost the next two games.

@ Anon,

Learn how to spell "embarrass." I find it more pitiful than admitting that I drink beer at baseball games. Man, I'm such an asshole for enjoying our American pastime with a frosty alcoholic beverage.

Great moment there! You can hear the "throw it in the dirt guy", God rest his soul. I hope him and Ernie look after our team this year.

OleMiss06,

Amen to that. Those two individuals put a lot into the program as fans. I noticed the chant as well when I watched the video, and it made me wonder if anyone should try to keep it rolling this year.

I'm the big goon in the back with the gray shirt and cup in my hand at 39.5 seconds through 42. Some people have 15 minutes of fame, others have 2 and a half seconds.
