the video makes it look like he was taking a poke at the recrootin experts that were saying he was bammer bound. i liked his quote, "need to hear from the horses mouth".

i doubt he cares much what bammer thinks now.

According to some on Nafoom, there was some super secret phone call that Saban made to Nutt. Something about Saban thinking Massie was signing with the Tahd, and he was pissed at Nutt. Anybody heard about that? Rooooollll Tahd!

PS-the fact that 'bama recruits have started wearing fedoras instead of a normal 'bama cap when they sign their LOI is about as hip as smoking meth.

That video made my day. And I heard about such a phone call from Saban as well. Apparently he was calling to threaten Nutt with accusations of foul play to which Nutt asked if he really wanted to put the two reputations up against one another concerning cheating. Nutt then added, "let the best man win and let's go on being friends." No idea whether it is true, but I will continue to propogate this rumor.

Anon,

I guess you're right. Up until a day or so ago, his name was on Scout and Rivals as "Bobbie" but now they've both been changed to "Bobby."

Bobbie is a girl's name so I thought it odd to begin with.

All this means is we didn't get two five star tackles in this years class. Oh well, We will have to settle for the #1 ranked tackle. Massie didn't come to Bama because he wouldn't have beat out D.J. Fluker for a starting spot. I guess now he'll have to settle for winning 6 to 9 games a season instead of having a chance at championships. You boys keep on thumpin your chest though, it was a good class for Ole Miss.
