Some Recruiting Talk

As many of you may know, former Auburn commit and highly coveted halfback Rodney Scott committed to the Rebels this weekend. Scott, one of the most highly touted athletes in Florida this season, made his announcement public on Sunday and also stated that he had cancelled his plans to visit USF and Clemson. His YouTube video is below. As you can see, he's got great speed and pretty impressive vision.

Along with Scott, Nutt is looking to bring Raymond Cotton to Oxford. Cotton, another former Auburn commit, is a dual-threat type of quarterback with ideal size (6'4") who has been touted as one of the nation's best scramblers. I've also added his highlights below. Apparently, Scott is a friend of Cotton's and is basically doing the recruiting for us. This pickup would be huge, especially with the recent end of Clayton Moore's recruitment.

I'm really starting to love Auburn's AD. He's making the rest of the SEC West's head coaches' jobs much easier.

Gene Chizik, you have been weighed, measured, and found wanting.
